The Natural History Museum has reopened today. Go on an action-packed day out and see mammoths, hippos and horses in our Mammals gallery as well as the skeleton of the biggest animal to have ever lived! There is something for everyone with our exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year where you will see breath-taking images of the diversity of our natural world to Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature, opening 9 December, where the real and magical worlds intertwine. Enjoy an incredible day out this winter.

The new IMAX: Ronson Theatre is relaunching following a major refurbishment. Featuring the very best in digital and analogue cinema, IMAX 70mm film and next-generation IMAX with Laser, the Science Museum will be premiering the BBC Earth's Antartica 3D. Narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, audiences will be able to experience the breath-taking landscape, treacherous climate and incredible wildlife of the icy continent.

This year, the Goethe-Institut will end their monthly Goethe-Kino screenings with Maria Speth's film Madonnas. After her release from prison, Rita is re-united with her five small children. When she meets an American soldier stationed in Germany, some stability seems to enter into her life. But Rita doesn't trust normality. Actress Sandra Hüller (Toni Erdmann) gives a daring performance in this portrait of motherhood.
