The Kensington + Chelsea Festival kicks off this week bringing you two months filled with music, dance, poetry and more. Expect exceptional performances in surprising and unusual places across the Royal Borough - including of course Exhibition Road.
The V&A is throwing a three-day Glastonbury Festival Weekender with the chance to drink in the sights, sounds and stories of Glastonbury with the museum’s interactive festival experiences
The Great Exhibition Road Festival also returns to South Kensington in October (9th-15th) to explore how art and science can help inspire a better future for the planet we share. They also have a fantastic programme of online events throughout the year.

South Ken Winning Teams Revealed |

The London Festival of Architecture and Discover South Kensington has announced the winning teams in the South Ken Green Trail design competition – a series of three ‘green interventions’ on Exhibition Road this summer creating habitat to support biodiversity and the recovery of London’s arts and science district. We're excited to be working with Seyi Adelekun with Wayward; Urban Radicals; and Mizzi Studio. |

Join the Royal Albert Hall on an epic musical celebration of their 150th birthday. To mark the auspicious occasion, David Arnold (James Bond films, Independence Day, Sherlock) turns his compositional genius to create a musical history of the Hall. The ten movements of this epic new work give a snapshot of the Hall’s unique history in a sonic journey through science, war and the suffragettes through to the present day and into the future. |

Asmaa Alanbari is an exhibition curator interested in telling the stories of communities through immersive experiences. She directs the interplay of light, colour, form and sound, bringing to life plans of the imagination into three dimensions. Her new exhibition ‘Gilgamesh’ (2,500 BC Babylon, Iraq) fuses painting, video projections and music to reinterpret the ancient myth in a contemporary way. |

During lockdowns, more than 250 of the Royal Society of Sculptors' members worldwide created the bronze sculptures in this exhibition, using just 10 grams of modelling wax, which were then cast into bronze. The project is a creative response to the time of uncertainty and isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. |
