Summer in South Kensington
The Summer Season is in full swing in South Kensington and there is a great line-up of free events and activities for all the family, including exhibitions, the Serpentine Pavilion, drop-in design at the V&A, summer workshops for kids, musical performances, and great places to keep cool in Royal Parks. Check out our summer highlights.
For music lovers, tickets are still available for the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and you can enjoy world-class performances for just £7.12 with a Day Promming ticket! For a different musical experience, Prom 53 & 54: Earth Prom brings a musical celebration of the BBC Studios Natural History Unit through the ages. Prom 60: The Dream Prom is a storytelling spectacle that transforms the Royal Albert Hall through a series of dreamscape projections and live music.
If you are coming to an afternoon Proms performance, we recommend a free visit to Royal College of Music Museum which is open every day except Monday over the summer.
