Located in South Kensington at 16 Sumner Place, Number Sixteen (part of Firmdale Hotels) offers a relaxed and stylish place to have Afternoon Tea, which is served daily from 1pm-4pm and can be taken inside at The Orangery or the private garden (weather permitting). The winner will enjoy a delicious selection of savory and sweet menu items, as well as a glass of Rathfinny Rosé with their tea. The menu includes a range of delicious treats from seasonal cakes and fluffy scones to finger sandwiches and blinis as well as a variety of bespoke tea blends!
If you are lucky with the weather, Number Sixteen has a beautiful tree-filled garden accessed through The Orangery. On a sunny day, it is perfect for afternoon tea. The Orangery is light and bright, decorated in designer Kit Kemp’s individual style, and features joyful colors, patterns and handpicked works of art.
The winner will also receive two tickets to visit nearby Kensington Palace, where they can explore the birthplace of Queen Victoria and home to young royals for over 300 years. Walk in the footsteps of royalty in the magnificent King's State Apartments and Queen's State Apartments. The winner will also have the chance to uncover forgotten stories of those who worked at the royal palaces over 300 years ago in Untold Lives: A Palace at Work (open until 27th October 2024).
